By accessing this website, engaging with our services, or placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the following Terms & Conditions. These terms govern all products, sales, services, and export transactions conducted by SpiceBloom, unless otherwise agreed in writing through a duly executed contract.

1. Product Quality & Specifications

All Indian spices supplied by SpiceBloom are agricultural products sourced from carefully selected farmers, processors, and suppliers across India. Products are offered strictly in accordance with mutually agreed specifications, grades, quality parameters, and packaging standards confirmed at the time of order. As natural agricultural commodities, Indian spices may exhibit minor variations in colour, aroma, texture, or size. Such natural variations are inherent to agricultural products and shall not be treated as defects or grounds for rejection.

2. Pricing

All prices quoted by SpiceBloom are based on agreed product specifications, quantities, packaging requirements, shipment terms, and applicable INCOTERMS. Prices are quoted in the mutually agreed currency and may be subject to revision due to fluctuations in raw material availability, freight costs, foreign exchange rates, statutory duties, or regulatory changes. Final pricing shall be deemed binding only upon written sales confirmation issued by SpiceBloom.

3. INCOTERMS

All export shipments of Indian spices are governed by INCOTERMS® 2020 as published by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Unless otherwise agreed in writing, shipments are typically offered under FOB (Free on Board) or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) terms.

4. Payment Terms

 

Spicebloom prefers the following payment terms:

  • 100% Advance Payment, or

  • Irrevocable Letter of Credit (LC) at Sight issued by a reputed bank

Any deviation from the above terms shall be subject to mutual written agreement. All bank charges outside India shall be borne by the buyer.

To ensure secure and transparent transactions, SpiceBloom follows standard international trade payment practices. Accepted payment terms include:

  • 100% advance payment, or

  • Irrevocable Letter of Credit (LC) at Sight issued by a reputable bank

Any alternative payment arrangements must be expressly agreed upon in writing. All bank charges and remittance fees outside India shall be borne by the buyer.

5. Order Confirmation

Orders shall be considered confirmed only upon receipt of written order confirmation from Spicebloom along with agreed advance payment or operative LC. Any changes or cancellations must be communicated in writing and accepted by Spicebloom.Orders for Indian spices shall be considered confirmed only upon issuance of a written order confirmation by SpiceBloom, supported by receipt of the agreed advance payment or operative Letter of Credit. Requests for order amendments or cancellations must be communicated in writing and are subject to SpiceBloom’s written acceptance.

6. Packaging & Labelling

All products are packed in hygienic, export-grade packaging suitable for international transportation and long-distance shipping. Packaging and labelling of Indian spices shall comply with applicable Indian export regulations and the importing country’s statutory requirements, based on information provided by the buyer prior to shipment.

7. Shipment & Delivery

Shipment schedules are indicative and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including vessel availability, port congestion, weather conditions, or force majeure events. SpiceBloom shall not be held liable for delays caused by such external factors.

8. Inspection & Claims

Pre-shipment inspection by an independent inspection agency may be arranged at the buyer’s request and expense. Any claims related to quality, quantity, or packaging must be notified in writing within 7 days of receipt of goods, accompanied by valid inspection or survey reports. Claims raised beyond this period may not be entertained.

9. Force Majeure

SpiceBloom shall not be responsible for any failure or delay in performance arising from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of God, strikes, pandemics, war, government regulations, or transportation disruptions affecting the supply of Indian spices.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

All transactions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.All transactions and agreements shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. 11. Amendments

SpiceBloom reserves the right to revise or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms shall become effective immediately upon publication on the website.
